Also, if you do read it, it is solely your choice to do so, and don't blame me. I HAVE PUT UP A WARNING SO DO NOT REPORT MY STORY, AND THERE WERE OTHER TWO WARNINGS BEFORE THIS!

[Irritated]

"And now, we begin," Azulian said, smirking, as he touched the refrained female with his fire engulfed hand. He touched the skin on her left arm, causing her to begin screaming in pain. However, the only sound the audience heard was a painful grunt because her screams were silenced by the gag in her mouth.

"I can't hear you in pain," Azulian snapped in displeasure, before his eyes widened a fraction, and a crazed expression appeared on his face. "I'll take care of that," He muttered darkly, before whirling his head towards one of the guards.

"You there," He began, causing the guard to flinch in fear, as he saluted towards Azulian to acknowledge and regard him with respect. "Give me your dagger,"  The Fire Prince hissed. With shaky and sweaty hands, the guard did as he was told, and threw his dagger towards Azulian, who glared at him.

"Have you realized what you've done?" Azulian hissed, catching the blade which nearly poked him in the eye. In his trembling form, the guard murmured, "T-Throw the dagger at y-you..?"

"Exactly, and it nearly costed me an eye, you disgusting peasant. You two, take him away and punish him for his carelessness! People who cannot even aim a throw are not needed under my command," Azulian snapped, looking at the two guards beside him with an indignant expression. Right away, the guards obliged and took the other guard away.

"Now, as for you," Azulian muttered, gazing down at his victim, and fiddling with the dagger in his hand. Minuscule, barely audible cries for help, left her mouth.

"I want to hear you shriek, and scream in pain, and I want to hear your loud wails. I want Zuko to hear what you're going through due to him. I want him to suffer like I did," Azulian hissed, before he swung the knife across her mouth, causing her to let out a very high-pitched scream of agony. Now, her gag was ripped and so were the end corners of the lips, and there were slight cuts on both of her cheeks. Blood flowed out of her cuts, and down her neck, running along her burnt skin.

And for what felt like an eternity, finally, she gave up being strong, and allowed herself to weep tears of grief and torture. Obviously, Azulian relished this, for he began to laugh like a crazy madman. Now, no longer was Azulian talking to his brother, but uttering sentences to his supposed deceased fiance.

"Cytherea, look at how much I love you! I'm willing to kill and torture anyone to avenge you! Look down upon me my love, look at how loyal I am to you even after your death! Even after you broke me, and left me alone, I'm willing to kill for you,"Azulian shouted, furrowing his eyebrows, and clenching his fist tightly.

Meanwhile, Zuko gazed at Azulian with angry amber eyes, his fist clenched, and shaking in anticipation to burn his brother to nothing but ashes. The fuel that only burnt his fiery anger brighter was when Azulian viciously cut her across the lower part of her face, and caused her to scream in pain. Obviously, this left Zuko in utter shock because not once, never had he heard her scream, much less cry. For this reason, he felt his heart drop into nothingness, when he heard something he never expected he would hear. He heard her silvery voice, her melodic voice that was filled with nothing but life and confidence, the soothing voice that sang him to sleep when he had nightmares, cry sounding utterly broken and damaged. In her voice, agony, anguish, sorrow and damage were clearly evident.

Iroh was right; Azulian was completely psychotic if he was able to break her, one of the strongest people he knew. Despite her tragic past, Zuko could imagine her with no emotion on her face expect happiness or sheer determination. And that is why, when he heard her wail, he felt like burning the world itself. Without being aware of how his emotions were visible physically, he did not realize that he had breathed out flames, or the fact that his hands were engulfed in them. All he knew was that while Azulian was frantically shouting, Zuko had flew up with the help of his flames, and land behind Azulian, before he punched his younger brother in the face.

"I still can't believe we're literally going to our deaths," Sokka muttered in annoyance.

"I can't believe you're still complaining about this," Katara voice, hitting him on the shoulder.

"Hey- Ow! That hurt," Sokka snapped, rubbing his shoulder to soothe the pain.

"I can't believe you're acting like a sissy for a boy who claims himself to be 'warrior'," Toph said, causing Sokka to glare at her.

"I still can't believe what Iroh told me," Aang whispered, lowering his gaze. Katara gave him a sympathetic stare, before she put her hand on his shoulder as a comforting gesture.

"He'll be okay, Aang. Don't worry. The caretaker we left him with knows exactly what to do to help him," She said in reassurance.

"But still, I don't get why we have to get involved in this!" Sokka protested. "It's the Fire Nation conflicts!"

"I know but, we can't just leave her. Not after what Iroh said," Aang replied, with a sorrow expression on his face.

"Yeah besides, although she's our enemy, she has helped us in more ways than one, you know," Toph reasoned, looking off in distance. "It's bad enough what she went through. Her past is even more tragic than mine. If her past is known to Azulian, who knows what he might do to her," Toph said.

Sokka opened his mouth to stand his debate, but he could not find any words to argue with. This caused him to sigh in annoyance before he said, "I hate it when you guys prove me wrong, ugh."

To this, the other three members of Team Avatar chuckled before Katara began to speak. "I know this is dangerous, but we will make it. We have to. It's our only choice, and let's not let the dangers of this mission, mess with our courage and allow us to lose our HOPE,"  She said, receiving nods from others. And then, they hugged, knowing that this might be the last time that they do so.

Azulian's eyes widened when out of nowhere, he felt a fist connecting with his cheek, which sent him flying back a few feet. The Prince skidded a bit, before he stopped himself, and stood on an angle with a furious look on his face.

"Who dare to interrupt me?" He growled, forgetting about the fact that he knew, his elder brother was there.

"I did," Zuko replied sternly, removing his face armor, and carelessly chucking it aside. This caused the Fire Nation inhabitants to gasp in shock, before they all readied their weapons to strike him down. However, before anyone could even move a muscle, they were stopped by Azulian.

"Stay out of this," Azulian ordered to the guards. "Under no circumstances are you to interfere in this fight. I'll take him on myself," The Prince snarled, grinning cunningly. Instantly, Zuko positioned himself in his fighting stance.

"Bring it," The older Prince challenge, his voice ringing out loud in the sobbing female's ear, who instantly stopped short in the midst of her crying.

"Z-Zuko..." She whispered, a fraction of hope visible in her voice. Instantly, Zuko turned towards her. He was about to reply, but he was unable to because a massive flame was hurled towards him. Right away, Zuko moved his hands downwards in a 'X' form, spun around on his heel, bending the oncoming flame towards him, and sent it back to it's owner.

As the flame was sent flying towards Azulian, the Prince simply jumped out of the way to dodge it. And before he knew it, a barrages of orange flames were coming at him simultaneously. Swiftly, without any trouble, Azulian side-stepped Zuko's attacks, before he spun around in a circle, causing blue flames to rise within thin air; and fly all over the common room in circles. This caused the other guards to flee, who screamed and left the room, scared for their life. Zuko jumped around the room, trying to avoid being hit by the destructive fire sent towards him.

Meanwhile, the blue flames that Azulian had fired all over the room, went hurling towards the ropes which binded her to the chair. Her ropes were burnt, setting her free, and before it could burn her skin, she put them out. Then, she ripped off the blind fold around her eyes.

"Finally," She breathed, wincing in pain as the cut across her mouth began to sting when she spoke. So instead, she stuck to her thoughts. However, before she had the time to think, her eyes wandered of to Azulian and Zuko who were relentlessly attacking each other with flames. Her eyes widened when she saw that Azulian was over-powering Zuko, who was on the brink of falling. This caused a furious expression to appear on her face, before she growled. She stood in a stance, her legs wide, and her arms close to her chest, as she cleared her mind. With one sole goal in her mind; she began to create patterns in midair, before the sound of chirping became audible. She felt a tingling sensation run along her body, giving her goosebumps just like it did every time she created lightning. And before anyone could blink, lightning was shot out of her hand, and towards Azulian, whom's eyes widened, and he was able to dodge her attack at the last second.

Instantly, black flames shot out her hands as she flew towards the person she now harbored utter hatred for; the one she came to religiously loath because of how he tormented her. Now, she vowed to kill him, her torturer: Azulian.

"Finally out of the bounds I see," Azulian taunted, smirking at her. His response caused her to viciously glare at him before she pulsed her anger within the heat of her body, which caused the black flames on her hands to start burning more ruthlessly. At this,  Azulian's eyes widened and he stared at her in disbelief.

"Your flames are black..." He muttered in shock, frozen still like a statue.

The girl in front of him smirked. "Just like your soul," She mocked, before she began to hurl a barrage of obsidian flames at him.

Instantly, Azulian's eyes widened, as he snapped back to reality and countered her black flames with his blue ones.

Her and Azulian became indulged in a fierce battle of blue and black flames. For every attack she sent towards him, he countered it. For every blue flame he sent towards her, she countered it with her black ones. Both of the sides were equally matched, and they continuously sent fearsome attacks against each other.

Zuko climbed up a rope and towards the upper floor from which he gazed down at the ground. The sight he saw caused his eyes to widen because from his height, the battle between Azulian and his crush  teammate, looked like a performance of a Firebending dance. A dance that he had seen once before

"Your flames were orange before," Azulian hissed towards her.

"And you were stronger from," She replied, spinning gracefully to dodge his blue flame, before she sent a black one towards him through her feet.

Azulian was about to reply to her but she interrupted him,

"I heard you were an amazing lightning bender, but all you're doing in Firebending. I guess those rumors about you were utterly bull, and you are nothing but a weak, spoiled Prince, who relishes in the sorrow of others because he's too weak to accept his past. No wonder, Zuko is the heir to the throne. You're nothing but a disappointment," She mocked, smirking at him.

Her response caused Azulian's eyes to widen, before an enraged expression crossed his face. "What did you say?" He hissed.

"Hard of hearing?" She taunted, causing Azulian to growl.

"You want to see my lightning, fine! I'll show you lightning," He hissed, spinning around 360 degrees to put out any flames around him. Then, he moved his feet wider, and brought his arms closer to himself, fueling all his energy, within them. Moments later, lightning began to become visible around his body.

Azulian was about to shoot his lightning towards her when he saw Zuko jump and land behind her. This caused his eyes to widen, and a wicked smirk crossed his face. While Zuko was standing up properly, Azulian shot his lightning towards him.

It all happened in slow motion.

She was prepared to redirect his lightning like she was taught how to by Iroh. But when the lightning did not go towards her, her eyes had widened, and she followed the direction it went in. Instantly, shock and bewilderment appeared on her face when she realized it was going to hit Zuko, who was not even aware of the  oncoming danger. Right away, flames out of her feet, and she dashed towards him, throwing herself on him, and taking the hit to her back for Zuko. Meanwhile, Azulian was laughing like a maniac, as she screamed in pain, and Zuko screamed in shock to see her getting electrocuted. However, something happened that none out of the three had expected.

The lightning tore the back of her Earth Kingdom Attire, revealing her back to Azulian - who had instantly stopped laughing, the second he saw it.

It was barely visible, but he saw the mark on her back. The mark that was once freshly burnt and fresh was now nearly healed. But he saw it, and he felt his eyes widened.

On her back, his name was carved in a form of a burnt scar. No one had this mark expect her
Expect his fiance.
How did he know that?
Because he was the one that gave that scar to her to claim her as is. It was one thing that he would surely identify her with.

And before Azulian knew what he was doing, he screamed the name he hadn't in an eternity, and he did something he hadn't done till her funeral.

He cried a single tear as he shouted in surprise, "CYTHEREA, NO!"
