A Proud Father;
Presently, [Name] was at the birthday party of Roy and Riza's child which celebrated their child turning three. It was more than halfway through the party as the birthday cake was already cut, and most of the entertainment had already occurred. Now, people were simply indulging with one another in simple conversations, eating, drinking, dancing, or anything else on their free will. There was one man that stood out doing nearly every one of these things, well actually two. But more so, they stood out for annoying showing off.
Edward grinned cockily as he held up his son, who was barely one years old in Mustang's face, whom's eyebrow twitched.
"What do you want Fullmetal?" Mustang inquired in annoyance, his eyebrow twitching.
Edward's grin widened. "Look at him," He murmured, moving his child closer to Mustang's face. "This is my son! I created him! Well, I helped create him but [Name] was the one who brought him into the world! Isn't she amazing for creating a life?! I was scared when she threw me across the room while giving birth to him, but look at him!!!! I HELPED create him, isn't that fascinating?! And he looks just like me! Look at how cute he is!" Edward gushed, literally shoving his son's butt in Mustang's face who struggled to move away from him.
"It's not that much of a big deal. I have a child too but only that he's cuter than yours," Mustang stated, his response causing an anime vein to appear on Edward's forehead.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY ABOUT MY CHILD?!" He shrieked, glaring at Mustang. "My son is aDORABLE!" He snapped, causing Mustang's eyebrow to twitch. Meanwhile, [Name] and Riza observed their husbands, one sweat-dropping and the other sighing.
"He's such an idiot, I apologize on behalf of his rudeness," Riza said, sighing. [Name] shook her head.
"Un, it's alright. Honestly, Edward is just as bad as Colonel, so need to apologize," [Name] said, smiling.
Unbeknownst to the two females, both men were listening to their conversation which caused them both to start steaming with anger as they heard their respective wives conversations.
"I'm not an idiot Lieutenant!" Roy said in protest, as Edward pointed at him.
"And I am in no way like him!" Edward barked, causing [Name] to sweat-drop.
"Sure, you aren't," She murmured under breath, as she pushed her chair back, and stood up, before walking over to Edward. She clapped her hands before holding them out to Edward.
"I'll take care of him now-" [Name] began but was cut off by the golden-haired male.
"No! I want to look after him," Edward argued, pulling his son closer to his form, causing [Name]'s eyebrow to twitch.
"Edward, you've been stick to him like glue for this entire week and AH!" [Name] yelped, when suddenly, she was lifted from her knees, causing her to yelp.
"Ah, Edward what are you doing?!" The [h/c] female exclaimed, her arms wrapped around his forehead awkwardly. Edward simply grinned at her.
"If you wanted me to glue to you, you should've just asked," He said simply, readjusting his hold on [Name], who nervously glanced around the party room, to see everyone looking at them with a strange gaze. Instantly, her face flushed red in embarrassment as she yelped and hid her face in Edward's shoulder. The said male was surprised by her action, but he smiled nonetheless.
"That's our cue to go, see ya," Edward called as he walked out of the party with his entire family in his arms.
